Here I stand in front of the iconic seven-layered entrance to Cave 96. The second picture depicts the famous Library Cave (Cave 17) discovered in the early 1900s. This is the origin of the manuscript that became the focus of my undergraduate thesis. As evidenced by my thick jacket, the weather was extremely dry and cold. I was not prepared.
